Knee coupling PTC for 8 millimeter tube to 1/4 BSPT (Conical)
With PTC connection for 8 mm tube and 1/4 BSPT male thread.
The external thread is conical and taped.
The housing of the coupling is nickel-plated brass.
So you can screw this right-angled coupling into a 1/4 BSP input and connect an 8 millimeter tube to it.
This coupling can be used simply by pushing the hose into the end of the coupling until it is firmly secured in place. The hose can be easily removed by pushing the ring back towards the coupling and pulling the hose out.
Abbreviations:
PTC: Push To Connect.
8mm tube: Outside diameter of the tube is 8 millimeters.
BSPT: British Standard Pipe Taper, also called Gas Thread. (Taper = conical)
Conical: Tapered, or sloping.
